Rat vagina in the estrus stage, Masson-Goldner Trichrome Staining, 260х

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The micrograph shows the vagina of a rat at the stage of estrus, i.e., ovulation. This is characterised by the keratinisation (yellow-orange) of the multilayered squamous non-keratinised epithelium (red). The connective tissue is stained blue-green. The tissue sections were stained using Masson's trichrome with reagents from the "Masson-Goldner Trichrome Staining Kit". Magnification: 260x. The micrograph was captured at the R.E. Kavetsky Institute of Experimental Pathology, Oncology and Radiobiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Kyiv, Ukraine), using an AxioScope A1 microscope (Carl Zeiss, Germany) equipped with an AxioCam ICc5 camera (Carl Zeiss, Germany).
AxioCam ICc5 (Carl Zeiss, Germany).
